The Design March event hosted by Nordic Iceland a success - inviting guests for a cup of coffee and to learn more about how a more inclusive approach to architecture and planning fosters activity and opportunities for everyone.

Jóhanna Helgadóttir architect and urban planner at Nordic Office of Architecture Iceland discussed the human approach in planning; inclusion and respect for diversity. Alongside Jóhanna was Camilla Heier Anglero Head of Healthcare Design and Architect at Nordic Office of Architecture in Oslo, talking about the processes and thoughts behind the award-winning Carpe Diem Dementia Village. The main focus of the project being to provide an opportunity for people suffering with dementia to lead a normal life and stay connected to the local community while receiving the care they need.
