Thomas Birkkjær is new creative director and partner with special responsibility for developing the business abroad.

Thomas Birkkjær becomes new creative director at Nordic Office of Architecture, where he will lead and develop the firm’s international profile. Thomas comes from a position as Creative Director at Arkitema. He now looks forward to becoming part of the management at Nordic Office of Architecture: “I am excited to join a firm with a strong Nordic profile that thinks visionary and holistically about the healthy cities of the future. Together with all my new talented colleagues and the creative leadership at Nordic, I look forward to continuing the good, creative development that is already underway at Nordic. Now we are setting all sails to also win some exciting projects abroad based on our strong Nordic design approach,” says Thomas Birkkjær.

Thomas Birkkjær is a trained architect from the Aarhus School of Architecture and has since 2014 been respectively competition and development manager, partner, and creative director at Arkitema.
