Live and work on the runway

Nordic created a concept for a site on the former main airport in Oslo, Fornebu. Four areas are involved in the urban plan; two residential sites, a commercial site and a site for a tower housing the new Sub Sea University College.

Island planning

The scheme is tied together by a landscape strategy with ‘islands’ that characterise the different areas and allows for a flexible infrastructure. The numbers on the illustration indicate proposed building phases.

Nailing the concept

The tower
