Nordic — Office of Architecture is home to the architects responsible for high-profile buildings such as Gardermoen Airport, St. Olav’s Hospital and the Norwegian government building complex. Nordic is now to become part of the Norconsult Group, but will continue developing as a separate business and brand. Norconsult is purchasing 90 per cent of the shares. Nordic — Office of Architecture will continue operating with the same management team and 11 partners in the group of owners, and no changes will be made to the Norconsult organisation as a result of the transaction.

Norconsult and Nordic — Office of Architecture have previously collaborated on a number of projects including Oslo and Bergen airports, as well as the LHL-, Førde- and Aker hospitals.

Nordic — Office of Architecture employs 170 people in Oslo, Copenhagen and London, while. Norconsult employs 3,350 people at 93 offices in Norway and around the world. The transaction is scheduled for finalisation before summer 2018, subject to approval from the Norwegian Competition Authority.
