The Beauvais Site is an empty industrial plot located at the corner of Rovsingsgade and Lyngbyvej, where the development of a new district is underway. The project, which is part of a comprehensive transformation of the area that was formerly home to Beauvais' factories, aims to create a more sustainable and inclusive urban space.
Aquatic Center and Housing Facility Development
The construction will consist of an aquatic center with a housing facility above. The housing facility's outdoor areas will be placed on the roof of the aquatic center, in connection with the communal areas of the residences.
Balancing Public and Private Spaces: A Harmonious Development
Two everyday lives that intertwine, but also two lives with different needs, experiences, rhythms, and atmospheres. The public and outward-facing Water House as a transformation of the green space in the city. The more private Housing Facility as a peaceful and serene residential complex with great views, in close contact with the elements and the changing of the seasons. Two in one, yet completely separate.
