The Multiarena Aabenraa stands as a testament to our commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities for athletes and enthusiasts alike. This dynamic project encompasses the construction of a cutting-edge multi-arena and the revitalization of existing sports facilities. Situated within a vibrant Campus Area, it offers a diverse array of spaces for sports, play, and movement, seamlessly blending into the surrounding urban and natural landscapes.

Activity landscapes and meeting places

The arena is a new, active and social hub for Aabenraa. Sportscampusse appeals to a wide variety of guests and users. It is a place where activities can take place spontaneously and in parallel, so for example, family members can do their own activities at the same time.

In addition, with its state-of-the-art training facilities and show court, the center helps create a local powerhouse for Elite Aabenraa.

Multi-arena for sports, culture and learning

The new double hall is being built to an existing sports facility that is being rebuilt and modernized into a large, cohesive and powerful sports centre.

The double hall will serve as an exhibition hall for elite sports as well as for sports education for school students, activities in local sports associations, and self-organized sports. The hall will also be the setting for various types of cultural events.

The new Multiarena is Aabenraa's new social hub, with an architecture that moves, stirs emotions and intellect. Sports and architecture go hand in hand, touching the heart and inspiring those who participate and those who watch from the sidelines.

Iconic architecture

The new extension of the center has a striking, sculptural design that is emphasized by the building's pervasive transparency. The facade alternates between closed and semi-transparent sections, where wooden slats in a warm golden color undulate around the building.

Inside, concrete and wood materials are used, combined with walls in strong colors and graphic elements. The entire building is activated, with zones for relaxation and contemplation as well as zones for play and movement.
