Proposal commended
Nordic's proposal for the new National Museum in Oslo was chosen as one of six finalists, from 237 international submissions in an open competition.
Conservation and innovation
Vital elements of the concept included the integration of the old train station building at the site, allied to an efficient and streamlined interpretation of the program to ensure the best experience for all users.
The museum was planned over four floors, horizontally divided between the gallery and exhibition zones on one side, with the operating and service zones for the museum staff on the other.
