Changes in Management at Norconsult Denmark A/S
After nine years as CEO, Thomas Bolding Rasmussen wishes to pass the reins to new forces. Therefore, a process has been initiated to hire a new skilled leader who can continue to build on a company in ongoing development.
Norconsult in Denmark, which is part of the Norwegian group, has experienced impressive growth and is today a company with nearly 600 employees. In recent years, Norconsult has made its mark in consultancy for construction, infrastructure, and Life Science. Together with its sister company, Nordic Office of Architecture, several significant construction projects are being handled for both private and public clients.
"I would first and foremost like to thank Thomas and the Danish management team for the effort they and the team have put into building Norconsult as a company in Denmark. Norconsult is a solid company that is now entering a new phase in Denmark, and we are naturally prepared for that," says Egil Hogna, Group CEO of Norconsult AS.
Calm to Find a New Permanent Solution
Until a permanent solution is found, Jess Sørensen, who is currently the director of Nordic Office of Architecture in Denmark, will step in as acting leader.
"I am grateful that Jess has agreed to step in as acting leader until a new and more permanent solution is in place. Jess is a trained engineer, has broad experience, and has shown impressive results over the years. Additionally, he knows both Nordic and Norconsult very well. The work to search for a new leader has started, and we are particularly looking for candidates who can further develop the good foundation that has already been established and who are also ready to take the company further into a new era with continued growth and development as a large, publicly listed company," says Egil.
Thomas Bolding Rasmussen will remain in his position until March 31 and will thus ensure a smooth transition to Jess Sørensen.
"We have a strong culture, fantastic employees, and exciting projects, and I look forward to leading the Danish organization in a transitional phase until a new leader for Norconsult Denmark A/S is in place. I am passionate about both our architecture and engineering business, and I believe I can contribute to developing collaboration across disciplines," says Jess Sørensen.
