Norconsult has appointed Jes Hansen as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Managing Director for Norconsult Denmark. Jes Hansen, who will join Norconsult 1 May 2026, has more than 20 years of experience from senior management positions in leading engineering consultancy firms.

Norconsult has achieved solid growth and profitability in Denmark, and with Jes we are strengthening the team dedicated to fulfilling our strategic ambition of becoming one of the three largest consultancies in the Nordics, says Egil Hogna, CEO of Norconsult.

Jes Hansen brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from senior management roles in international engineering consultancy firms. He has a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, leading large-scale integrations, strengthening organisational capabilities, and delivering consistent profitable growth. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at Parsons Brinckerhoff in Australia and Europe, and WSP, before joining Sweco in 2021. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President at Sweco Denmark, where he was responsible for key business areas including infrastructure, water, environment, energy and pharma.

Norconsult Denmark primarily undertakes projects in building and architecture, geotechnical services, as well as industry and life sciences.

Jess Sørensen is interim EVP and Managing Director of Norconsult Danmark. He will remain in this role until Jes Hansen joins Norconsult latest 1 May 2026 and then return to his permanent position as Director for Nordic Office of Architecture in Denmark.
