Nordic Office of Architecture part of Metier’s framework agreement with Sykehusbygg

Metier has been awarded a new framework agreement with Sykehusbygg HF, where Norconsult, Nordic Office of Architecture, and Technogarden will provide consultancy services to help develop and modernize healthcare buildings in Norway.

The agreement is signed with Metier, which brings together a wide range of skilled and experienced players in the hospital sector. Norconsult will play a central role, alongside architects from subsidiary Nordic Office of Architecture and Technogarden, which contributes resources in project management and related support functions. In addition, Canterra, Magna, Brisq, Vali, and Myloc are part of the group of partners Metier has assembled.

“Our driving force is to create health-promoting architecture that combines patient safety, dignity, and good working conditions for frontline healthcare workers.

This framework contract gives us a valuable opportunity to further develop the specialized expertise we’ve built over decades and to contribute to hospital buildings that combine uncompromising functionality with genuine human care,” says Camilla Heier Anglero, Partner and Head of Healthcare Design at Nordic Office of Architecture.

The framework agreement is a new confirmation of the Norconsult Group’s strength and breadth in health-related and socially beneficial projects. With experience from some of the Nordic region’s most complex hospital and healthcare buildings, Nordic Office of Architecture brings a multidisciplinary team of experts in project support, functional planning, and healthcare design. Norconsult’s dedicated architects, consultants, and specialists share one common drive: to create patient-centered solutions that also provide an optimal working environment for staff.

“The framework agreement with Sykehusbygg HF is an important step in developing future healthcare services. We are proud to contribute our interdisciplinary expertise and experience from complex public projects, and we look forward to working closely with Metier and the other partners to ensure sustainable and functional hospital buildings for future generations,” says Bård Hernes, Executive Vice President, Head Office, Norway, at Norconsult.

Sykehusbygg HF is responsible for planning and executing major hospital projects in Norway and works closely with health trusts to ensure sustainable, functional, and forward-looking buildings. Through this agreement, the parties will contribute to strengthened project execution, efficient resource use, and best practices in project management.

“Being part of developing future hospital buildings is both meaningful and motivating. Through the agreement, we get the opportunity to contribute with what we do best – delivering experienced professionals in project management and support functions that strengthen execution capabilities and contribute to high quality in complex projects,” says Kathrine Duun Moen, Executive Vice President at Technogarden.

The agreement lasts for two years, with an option to extend for an additional two years (1 + 1 year).
