Nordic celebrates 40 years and welcomes new Partners

In September 2019, it was 40 years since what is now Nordic Office of Architecture began to take shape. Today, the firm has 240 employees across four countries and is expanding its Partner group in both Norway and Denmark. The new Partners are Erik Urheim (Norway) and Brian Uhd Hansen (Denmark), and the company is also being strengthened with several associate Partners.

“Erik has managed some of our largest and most complex projects. He has been a spearhead in interdisciplinary project management and client relations,”

says Eskild Andersen, Managing Director of Nordic. “His work as the design group leader at Oslo Airport and now at the Government Quarter has maintained an inspiringly high professional level. He has helped elevate our office for over 20 years, so it is a pleasure to welcome him as a partner,” Andersen continues.

A new partner has also been appointed at Nordic’s Denmark office. Brian Uhd Hansen, the operational manager for Nordic DK, has been a key employee since he started in 2016, working on projects such as Glostrup Neurorehabilitation and Helsingør Health House.

“Brian has been a key figure in the development of the office in Denmark. He is a strong professional and has made an incredible effort as the design group leader for the office’s largest projects and in his new role as operational manager.

He has continuously worked to develop and strengthen the office, which we naturally greatly appreciate,” says Sofie Peschardt, Managing Director of Nordic DK.

As part of the strategic work to further develop the firm, Nordic is also appointing ten associate partners who will help to further strengthen the company both professionally and commercially. The ten are Diana Cruz (Sector Lead Urbanism), Hossam Gadalla (Sector Lead Commercial), Håvard Slinde (Senior Project Leader), Inger Molne (Design Director), Katja Dorsch (Sector Lead Health), Marcus Enskat (Sector Lead Health), Marianne Lommerud (Sector Lead Living), Thomas Fagernes (Design Director), Tom Holtmann (Senior Project Leader), and Knut Ramstad (CTO).
