Nordic Office of Architecture is festival partner at OPEN25

On September 19, the fifth edition of the international architecture festival OPEN25 will take place at Aarhus School of Architecture. Once again, the festival brings together both established and emerging voices in architecture from around the world – this year under the theme In the Eyes of the Ordinary.

Nordic Office of Architecture is festival partner at the international architecture festival. Through talks, panel discussions, exhibitions, film screenings, and performances, the festival explores everyday architecture and the ordinary. The focus is on the overlooked qualities of architecture and how embracing the ordinary can contribute to more democratic, humane, and sustainable environments.

OPEN25 is curated by Karen Kjærgaard in collaboration with Asal Mohtashami and Bendik Støckert. Across six stages, more than 50 speakers from Denmark and abroad will join to bring academia, industry, and practice together for vital conversations. The international architecture festival is a non-profit event supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, Dreyers Fond, Realdania, and the City of Aarhus, along with a number of festival partners.

OPEN25 takes place on Friday, September 19 at Aarhus School of Architecture.
