Striking versitile components
Riksteatret, Norway's national touring theatre, utilizes its premises versatilely. Their venue in Oslo serves dual purposes: a performance space for on-site audiences and a rigging preparation area for all productions.
To maximize flexibility, we designed wardrobes, restrooms, ticketing, and bar areas, as mobile units. These elements, combined with a mingling space, create a dynamic environment for the audience.
Raw and bright
Formerly a garage and goods reception area, the building's raw industrial character is accentuated by a bold colour palette and striking graphics. This design approach not only reflects the building's history but also aligns with Riksteatret's identity as a nomadic theatrical company.
