A merger between two of Norway's most significant publishers, Cappelen and Damm, created the need for a reconsideration of their HQ. Nordic were both architects and interior designers for the reconception of their offices.
Books and coffee
The premises include canteen, vestibule, café and a book store as well as office space with individual workstations, open plan areas and conference facilities. Fixed furniture was custom-made and built on site.
Colour and culture
A wall of bookshelves forms a 'spine' for the office, with colours matching the existing company profile. The facade of the oldest part of the building was preserved, as was the adjacent street passage.
