The new high-end hotel and apartment complex Fyri Hemsedal is situated at nearly 700 meters above sea level, directly connected to the alpine slopes of Hemsedal ski resort.

Within the complex, you can find approximately 150 apartments and 140 hotel rooms, a sky bar, a restaurant and large conference facilities, making it the first conference hotel in Hemsedal.

Materialising from the mountainside, the timber clad hotel becomes an extension of the landscape.

The building concept of a heavy timber base and a seemingly floating timber roof is visible from both the city centre and the main ski slopes.

The star shaped plan addresses the different scenes in the valley, providing a spectacular view from each hotel room and apartment.

In the intersection of the four lamellas, the geometry of the roof creates an architectonically interesting structure that houses the public areas and a sculptural main staircase.

Relax by the pool

Fyri Pool Club is a separate wing in the Fyri resort, featuring pools inside and outside, a wellness suite, a fitness centre and a bar.
