Expanded learning

Fauske municipality wanted a school that was inspiring and energising, expanding the pupils' learning area to include the outdoors. In addition to a library, a multi purpose hall for physical education, and various specialised education rooms, the scheme also provide a strong link to the surroundings and the activity park adjacent to the school.

Let the light in

In order to create optimal spaces for learning and socialising, we used floor to ceiling windows in order to let in as much natural light as possible. A cheerful colour scheme stimulates the senses, and the abundant use of timber makes for a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which the pupils can thrive.
