Living by the sea

On the seafront site on the Seltjarnarnes peninsula outside Reykjavik, the client wanted to maximise views to the sea and at the same time provide optimal privacy for the residents.

A glass wall facing the sea provides optimal views while a low sculptural concrete wall shelters the terrace. The closed courtyard provides a fully private outdoor space.​

Changing character

The building is clad in timber and copper; materials that will slowly change colour and character as they weather through time.
