A unified organism

Nordic collaborated with CCO, SLA, COWI and Norconsult in a competition to design a research and education building at the University of Oslo campus. According to the project requirements the new Life Science building will be a unified organism that creates a vibrant framework around the campus.

Arts and sciences

Our proposal creates spaces for offices and laboratories, alternating throughout the building. A gallery serves as a social backbone for the building, where a mix between common areas and areas for individual departments makes social interaction interesting and easy.
